iPresas (Dam engineering) consists of a group of professionals and researchers of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) who focus their activity on hydraulic infrastructures. The group is part of the Water Resources Division at the Research Institute of Water and Environmental Engineering (UPV).

iPresas was funded by this team in January 2011, as a technology-based Spin-Off company of UPV (www.ipresas.com).

Besides dealing with all aspects related to the design, construction and operation of hydraulic infrastructures, we concentrate our efforts on the study of dam safety and security, including the development of risk-analysis based methodologies to evaluate the efficiency of structural and non-structural corrective actions.
